About
I’ve written one novel, The Voyageur, and three story collections, The High-Rise in Fort Fierce, A Plea for Constant Motion, and The Secret Life of Fission. I won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award and have been shortlisted for an Ottawa Book Award and two ReLit Awards. My stories have been published in numerous journals and magazines, including The New Quarterly, The Malahat Review, Grain, and Apocalypse Confidential. I’ve edited books for Radiant Press and Guernica Editions, and I’ve copy-edited others for Inhabit Education Books. I work as a freelance editor and writing coach with clients big and small, from aspiring authors tooling up their first novels to international research organizations responding to requests for proposals. I’m a member of Editors Canada, the Canadian Freelance Guild, and the Editorial Freelancers Association. I live with my partner and our dog in Ottawa, Canada.
