About

I’ve written one novel, The Voyageur, and three story collections, The High-Rise in Fort Fierce, A Plea for Constant Motion, and The Secret Life of Fission. I won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award and have been a finalist for an Ottawa Book Award and two ReLit Awards. My stories have been published online and in numerous journals and magazines, including Grain, The New Quarterly, The Malahat Review, The Puritan, and Apocalypse Confidential. I’ve edited books for Radiant Press and Guernica Editions, and I’ve copy-edited others for Inhabit Education Books. I work as a freelance editor and writing coach with clients big and small, from aspiring authors tooling up their first novels to research professionals exploring topics like international trade and migration. I’m a member of Editors Canada and the Editorial Freelancers Association, and I can be reached through the directory of either organization.
